A pair of patinated and gilt bronze wall-lights
A pair of Restauration patinated and gilt-bronze wall-lights with two light branches ornamented with acanthus leaves and vegetal patterns. The stem is decorated with openwork palmettes. This pair of sconces is pierced for electricity.This pair of gilt bronze sconce is decorated using the technique of ormolu. The gold have to be reduced to powder on a broken stone and amalgamated with mercury, this is a process that is easier than the gold leaf.
