A bronze clock : "Paul et Virgine"French Directoire clock in gilded and patinated bronze, representing the history of "Paul and Virginie", represented within an exotic framework between two palm trees. The marked movement of "Chantelot à Marseille" rests on a rectangular base decorated with a bas-relief of flowers and stylized leaves, with in the center a representation of "Paul and Virgine" in a boat facing the storm.
