Bronze sculpture after Edme DumontA brown patinated bronze sculpture representing Milo de Crotone dividing in two parts the trunk of a tree, his legs on the sides of the trunk, with all his muscles tense in order to represent the effort. Signed E. Dumont 1768. This bronze is dated from the 19th century after the original marble by Edme Dumont (1720-1775) part of the Louvre Museum collection.
