Delhi vase in blue Sevres porcelainAn original vase, Delhi model , in blue porcelain by the Sevres manufactory. The shape and decoration are inspired by the Orientalist movement, including the Persian arts of Iznik: belly crowned with a tapered neck and flared interrupted by a bulge flanked by a gilt bronze circle. Marked by the Sevres manufactory: production stamp in 1873 and decorated in 1875.
