Early 19th century French clock in ormolu with a swan and cornucopia
Original and unique clock in gilded bronze, Charles X period, representing a swan spreading out behind a movement with Roman numerals and resting on dolphins. The dial in bronze, chiseled with various patterns of shells for each hour, is flanked by cornucopias from which flow out fruits. The rectangular base rests on four legs in the shape of shells imitating stylized waves. The iconography refers to the abundance of sea and land.
