Early 19th century French pendulum in gilded bronze representing Cupid and Psyche

A pendulum in gilded and chiseled bronze representing Cupid holding a bow in one hand and a crown in the other over the head of Psyche. She sits on the dial with Roman numerals, draped in an antique dress. The base is also decorated in the center with the couple Cupid and Psyche. She lays roses on an altar and Cupid seems to burn them with a flare. On both sides of this central scene, Roman monuments surrounded by vegetation. Movement with a thread in working condition.
Circa :1820
Dim: W: 11,8 in - D: 3,9in - H: 15in.
