A porcelain and ormolu clock featuring a vase on a pedestal, with flutes decorated with floral motifs in gold highlights and gold-painted foliage, the whole embellished with pearls and small enameled flowers, on a sky-blue background. The vase has two short handles in the form of leafy scrolls with fixed rings. Openwork fluting, highlighted in gold, decorates the perimeter of the neck. The vase rests on an ormolu stave base containing the movement, lavishly decorated with garlands of flowers, acanthus leaves and ribbons. The sides feature two lions' heads holding laurel wreaths in their gules. The dial features a porcelain plate with Roman numerals for the hours and, in the center, a polychrome wreath of flowers on a white background. Revised original movement, in working order.
