Pair of 19th Century French Louis XVI Period gilt bronze Fire-dogs
A pair of gilt bronze Louis XVI Period fire-dogs decorated with fire pots surmounted by a flame, decorated with vegetal garlands and fluted elements on the base. These louis XVI andirons represent the carving of the pieces in bronze under the reign of Louis XVI as well as its antique ornamental repertoire.
