Pair of Andiron
Pair of gilt bronze Louis XVI style andirons. Finely worked these andirons are based on foot-shaped cone, they are decorated with garlands, acanthus leaves and ending with a cassolette based on tripod legs with heads of children blowing and finishing with a flame. These Napoleon III andirons reproduce the fineness of the carving of the pieces in bronze under the reign of Louis XVI as long as its antique ornamental repertoire.
