It was sold for £12.120 to 'Knight'. From catalogue: Pictures by Old Masters the property of Lieutenant-Colonel The Hon. Thomas George Breadalbane Morgan-Grenville-Gavin, D.S.O, M.C. Removed from Langton, Duns, Berwickshire, and now to be disposed of in consequence of the Mansion having been sold. The majority of these Pictures were the property of the 2nd Marquess of Breadalbane at Taymouth Castle; a number of them had been brought there in 1860 from the Marquess of Breadalbane's apartments at Holyrood Palace.
