This exquisit harmonium embodies the style and sophistication of the Napoleon III era. This instrument comes very certainly from a particular collection, such as a castle or a bourgeois house of 1860s-1870s. It displays an elaborate decoration with a remarkable level of detail. It was used as accompanying instrument for voices and other instruments such as violin.

In overall good condition, with light wear to the gilding and small scratches and cracks in wood. The keys are no longer level.
