Small English ink stand crafted of tortoise, crystal and gilt bronze by Patent in London. It is richly decorated with inlaid foliage and floral motifs. This stand is well appointed for the writing with its three removable, cut-crystal vessels with ormolu lids. The central inkpot is ornamented with gold-colored foliage and stripes and is topped by a disc decorated with a crown and marked "PATENT LONDON". The gilt bronze handle is chiseled with rocaille, scrolls and foliage.

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the base with some cracks and minor areas of rubbing consistent with age. Light wear to the gilding.
