Bronze sculpture with brown patina "L'accolade" featuring two hugging horses and a dog on a naturalist base highlighted with flowers. The dog is barking at the horses. The group rests on a gilt bronze fluted base above a red Griotte marble plinth. 19th century French work in the style of Pierre-Jules Mène or Charles Valton, who studied sculpture with Barye and Fremiet.


Circa :1850
Dim: W: 13,8 in - D: 6,3in - H: 13,4in.
Dim: L:35cm, P:16cm, H:34cm.


Condition Report

In good overall condition. The ormolu base with traces of wear and rubbing. Marble chips.
