Asymmetrical Art Deco bar and drop-front desk crafted of rosewood veneer in the taste of André Sornay (French, 1902-2000). Both have rectangular containers and display geometric lines in the purest Art Deco style. The bar has two flap doors in the lower part, a door with a bar shelf in the center, and a sliding door in the upper part. The writing desk has several storage compartments, with shelves and drawers, and an extendible writing surface. A removable tray covered with mirror can join the two pieces of furniture together. Modernist keys and keyholes crafted of silver metal.
