Art Deco boat double bed frame, made of Macassar ebony veneer, by the decorator Claude de Plasse. The headboard follows a slight curve that gives it elegance while maintaining its simplicity. The foot of the bed has curved forms and its base is carved with quarter-circle rings.

Macassar ebony, a wood alternating black and cream colors, is used in the decoration and manufacture of high-end furniture, especially during the Art Deco period. This type of wood is mainly produced in Indonesia and takes its name from the city of Makassar.

It can also come with a pair of bedside table and a dressing table in Macassar ebony veneer that we sell separately.
