Rare pair of caramel lacquered pewter drinking fountains, decorated with village scenes and ruined landscapes in cameo. The upper part of the body and the neck are enhanced with friezes with floral motifs painted in gold on a black background. Each barrel is decorated with two lion's heads in gilded bronze , holding a ring. Curved tripod base, finished with wooden runners. Empire period.

Condition report: in good overall condition, with a few chips to the lacquer and slight wear to the bronze. The cameo decorations are in very good condition.
