Cup in green and white porcelain bisque representing a mermaid, with her chest bare, blowing in a conch shell. Her hair up in a bun, she is sitting on a wave that breaks in the center of the cup. The lip is decorated with foliage and flowers. The bowl is mounted on a gilded bronze foot with a dragonfly, a shell and a stylized fish. These elements are connected by a branch.

 

This is an English work from the early 19th century.
