Set of console table and mirror fashioned in the Louis XVI style. Crafted of natural mahogany stained wood, this exquisite set features porcelain and gilt bronze decoration.
The console rests on four straight fluted legs decorated with gilt bronze rings. The rectangular onyx top marries the inlaid rosewood belt highlighted with ormolu foliage and twenty porcelain medallions depicting flowers. The rim of the medallions is chiseled with a laurel wreath and ribbon. In the center, an important gilded bronze medallion features two winged Cupids on clouds.
The rectangular mirror with bevelled glass is decorated with forty-six porcelain medallions and gilt bronze daisies. The mirror is topped by a bronze medallion depicting, as on the console, two winged Cupids surmounted by a trophy.

Condition Report
The set is overall in good condition, with light wear to the porcelain consistent with age and use. The onyx tray with very small chips.
