Review

Inkwell in the shape of a shuttle in gilt bronze and chiseled on a marble base. It has four removable cups, one of which is made of glass decorated with a cut rosette, and four feather holders. The two central lids are decorated with palmettes and topped with pine cones. The others have a decoration imitating the gothic architecture. This decoration is typical of the reign of Charles X. The three-legged shuttle rests on a rectangular base in yellow Sienna marble with four small claw feet and a hollowed out penholder.

Dim: W: 13 in - D: 6,7in - H: 7,5in.
Dim: L:33cm, P:17cm, H:19cm.

Condition Report
In good condition. Restoration to one of the corners of the marble.
