A pair of crystal, ormolu and silver-plated bronze horn vases depicting a young fisherman and a farmer. The farmer carries a gourd and holds a scythe, alluding to field work and the harvest. The fisherman carries a fishing net over his shoulder and holds fish. The two respectively lift a bouquet of wheat ears and reeds dotted with flowers, from which spring crystal bowls with poly-lobed rims. They stand on a naturalistic base, decorated with floral and plant elements on an amati background.
