LOUIS XIV STYLE BRONZE CHANDELIER WITH 6 LIGHTS

Majestic Louis XIV style chandelier in chased and gilded bronze with six arms of light. The shaft is richly decorated with oves, scrolling acanthus leaves and architectural motifs, and is adorned with two scrolled brackets at the top and baldaquins at the bottom. The "S"-shaped arms are decorated with foliage and scrolls, and support bobèches chiselled with palmettes, shells and interlacing motifs. 19th century. Circa: 1880 Dim: W:78cm, D:78cm, H:73cm. In good condition, with light wear in places. Electrified and in working order.
