Italian "Onda" three-seat sofa with chromed steel structure and feet, and original green full grain leather upholstery. Full grain leather is regarded as the highest quality leather. It often comes with an aniline finish which stains or dyes the leather while still allowing the natural grain to show through, and allows the leather to continue to breathe, as opposed to other types of leather which are sanded down and given a thicker finish coat. Full grain leather has more fibre strength and durability and as it ages, it develops a patina over time. Our full grain leather sofa was designed by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi in the 1980s. "Onda" model (italian for "wave") is an iconic sofa, inspired by the sea. Bent tubes interpret the shape of the waves. Manufactured by Zanotta in Italy. Manufacturer's label under the cushions.
