Napoleon III-period pink opaline ewer with its bowl.

The set is decorated with white enamel palmettes, small dots, and floral motifs. Gold bands accent the neck, handle and base of the ewer, as well as the rim of the bowl. The three slender, gilt bronze legs finish with delicate hoof feet.

 

Dim (ewer, bowl and legs): L:41cm, P:41cm, H:83cm. / W: 16,1 in - D: 16,1in - H: 32,7in.

 

Dim ewer: L:23cm, H:33cm.

Dim bowl: L:41cm, P:41cm, H:14cm.


Circa :1870

Condition Report

In overall very good condition, with light wear to the gilding. Very precise and detailed enamel work.
