Review

Table zither in painted wood. The handle is made of turned blackened wood. The rosette of the resonance box is decorated with a crown of oak leaves. The tablatures are indicated at the bottom of the instrument. The Operia Konzert-Harfe stamp is present in the soundbox and stamped on the upper left side. The instrument was made in Germany at the end of the 19th century.

 

It originated in China over 2000 years ago and can be placed on a music stand. The musician plucks the strings with one hand and varies the pitch of the notes with the other creating vibratos and sound effects.
