Oil on canvas depicting a nude woman seated on her bed. The painting is signed lower right Louise Landré, 1918. The frame is in gilded wood. Louise-Amélie Landré was born in Paris in 1852, and began her training in the studio of Chaplin, then Barias and finally Hubert. She began her career at the 1876 Salon. In 1885, she was named Sociétaire des Artistes Français and continued to exhibit portraits and landscapes. Art nouveau period.
