Pair of armchairs in the taste of Pierre Guariche (1926-1995) resting on four feet in black lacquered tapered metal. They have a wide seat and a slightly sloping back with low armrests upholstered with foam. They are covered in blue velvet and the upholstery has been redone. They can be compared to the Troika design by Pierre Guariche and Paul Geoffroy published in the 1960s.

 

Pierre Guariche is a French designer of the 1950s and 1960s. Interior designer, he became known for his furniture in series in a modernist style aesthetic. Practical and of quality, his furniture brought comfort to the post-war interior.

Condition Report
In good condition. The upholstery has been redone.
