PAIR OF LOUIS XVI STYLE CASSOLETTES

A pair of small Louis XVI style gilt bronze cassolettes acting as both torches and urns. The urn is decorated with garlands of laurels and rests on a fluted column. The lid of the cassolette is reversible: one side serves as a candle-holder and the other as an urn lid. The quadrangular base has four toupie feet.

Condition report: small bronze chip on one of the torches.
