Small bronze-mounted porcelain covered pot in Sevres style.

The turquoise, or bleu celeste, background highlights the exquisite polychromatic plaques featuring birds on branches, surrounded by foliated gilt borders. Bronze ormolu stands, richly decorated with masks, acanthus leaves and scrolling foliage. The handles, which extend to the base, are covered with flowery branches and foliage. This porcelain pot rests on four foliated feet above a small rectangular base. Sevres apocryphal mark underneath.

Dim: W: 9,4 in - D: 4,7in - H: 8,3in.
Dim: L:24cm, P:12cm, H:21cm.


Condition Report

The porcelain is in very good condition, with a short firing crack in the making, inside the pot. The ormolu base with a small original losse.
