Important 111-piece silver flatware service in Louis XV style. The set includes an array of sumptuous serving pieces. The service boasts beautiful naturalistic motifs such as plants, flowers, foliage and animal claws, very popular in the 18th century, under the reign of Louis XV.


The set comprises:

- 24 large pieces of cutlery

- 24 cutlery dessert

- 12 coffee spoons

- 12 dinner knives

- 12 cheese knives

- 12 fuits knives

- 1 soup ladle

- 1 large pierced spoon

- 1 sugar tong

- 1 asparagus shovel

- 2 fish cutlery

- 1 cutting service

- 2-piece salad server

- 6-piece à hors d'oeuvres.


The handles are covered with silver.

Each utensil is housed in a custom-fitted chest, and hallmarked with "LG" monogram, "PARIS" and several marks:

- Minerve mark 1st Title (after 1838)

- manufacturer mark "SAM" for Société Alliage Métaux and "LC" for Louis Goignet, in a diamond.


Weight: 6350 gr.


The silver flatware service is presented in an oak box, decorated with the monogram "LG". The interior is in red velvet.
