Important flatware solid silver neoclassical style, in its Gorini Frères oak case. The case, with brass handles and keyhole, is signed "GORINI FRÈRES / Joailliers Orfèvres / PARIS-POITIERS". The cutlery is decorated with honeysuckle, ribbon wreaths, torches and foliage.
This cutlery set includes 108 pieces divided as follows:
- 12 oyster forks
- 12 large knives with stainless steel blades and mother-of-pearl handles (unweighed)
- 12 small knives with stainless steel blades and mother-of-pearl handles (unweighed)
- 24 large forks
- 12 forks and spoons
- 12 large spoons
- 12 teaspoons
Weight: 5048 g.
The cutlery features a coat of arms with the monogram "NT", the inscription "PARIS" and several hallmarks:
- Minerve hallmark Silver 1st title (from 1838)
- Henri Lappara & Georges Gabriel goldsmith's hallmark with the initials "LG" in a rhombus with a rat between the two letters. Inscribed August 12, 1902 and crossed out December 26, 1923, 157 rue du Temple, Paris.
