Two pairs of Lucignano curtains by Fadini-Borghi and their valances topped by a gilded wood ramp molded and carved with masks and flowers. The curtains are cotton damask decorated with baskets overflowing with red flowers on a yellow background. The curtains are fully lined with a red cotton. There is a possibility to lengthen them a little because the hem is deep. The decoration of the valances is composed of three masks of bearded men wearing feathers in the center and in the corners. The curtains fastened with metal hooks and the valances are attached with a velcro closure. The curtains originally date from around 1850, the hanging systems are modern.

Fadini Borghi specializes in Italian luxury weaving. Today associated with the house Pierre Frey, it was founded in 1947 in Turin to create traditional Italian fabrics for furniture, including damask. In 1975, it acquires the Borghi house specialized in velvet from Genoa. With this exceptional expertise, they realize productions inspired by their textile archives going back to the 16th century. Since the partnership with Pierre Frey, the Fadini Borghi house focuses on contemporary productions.
