"Bleu de Tour" by Gustave Asch

 

 

Two porcelain vases intricately decorated with chestnut branches and chestnuts in their bugle in gold on "bleu de Tours" background. The motif covering the neck and the belly of each vase, is typical of the Art Nouveau decorations of the French ceramist Frédéric Gustave Asch (1856-1911).
