19th century cave à liqueur with brass marquetry decoration, providing liquid refreshment. The box opens to reveal 4 decanters and 16 shot glasses.

This cave à liqueur or liqueurs cellarette is crafted of blackened wood and boasts beautiful brass marquetry details. The main face and the lid are decorated with silver and gold-coloured foliated scrolls, flowery basket, garlands and birds. The interior reveals several compartments fitted to receive the crystal service composed of four decanters with their cork and sixteen shot glasses. The cellarette was an important piece of dining room furniture and was used between the mid-18th century to late-19th century period.

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the cellar with light wear to the gold and silver accents. Small chips on the glasses.
