Rectangular box from the 19th century, inlaid with lattice work in Greek-style frames. The name "Lillie" is inscribed on the lid. It opens with a key through a hinged lid forming a storage compartment, and can also be used as a writing case by folding down the central compartment. The writing case is decorated with blue velvet and gilded motifs on black leather. XIX° period, Circa: 1880 Dim: W:32cm, D:23cm, H:15cm. Original velvet fabric with wear.
